I have to show off the nieces. I took some pictures of these cuties a little while ago.

On vacation. I drove to Indianapolis yesterday to see my brother, sister-in-law, mom and sister--oh yeah, and two of the cutest little girls ever seen. The twins are adorable. I think they are finally starting to warm up to me--I'm guessing it's because I have less hair than they do and they aren't used to seeing that. I will post pictures in the next day or so--their cute little toothless smiles are more than enough to make up for the snow that is coming.

I've watched a lot of TV in the past 24 hours since I've been here. From "The Biggest Loser" to "Ellen." It's strange to actually sit around and relax.... I have realized how little I have done that recently. I've almost finished "Love Is The Killer App" by Tim Sanders. Very entertaining and valuable.

I've also watched about 9 hours it seems of police drama stuff--"Judging Amy," "NYPD Blue," "Law And Order" etc etc... A man's pee-pee was cut off in one episode even. Now that's good TV!

I need some new music! People: hit me up with some suggestions!!

On my drive here yesterday I had this surreal experience. As I'm driving I had to pass through all the places where I went to elementary and high school. Everything looked similar but so many businesses had switched--the old bowling alley is an ATV dealership; fast food places now serving as video stores or seasonal holding houses selling costumes or Christmas trees. I had the strange feeling of being sorry the past is "gone" and being glad that I have moved on. Like so many other things in life, I feel contradictory.

And no Alanis, it still isn't called "Ironic." Just contradiction.

Gotta go--another intriguing "Law And Order" is on.
